The macro problem
Africa's energy demand is forecast to grow by more than 50% by 2040.
As nations industrialize and populations grow, each African economy
needs reliable access to oil and gas to stay competitive before
demand becomes a strain on resources. Today, that supply chain is
fragmented, opaque, and often inaccessible to local B2B operators.
Distributors juggle volatile prices, slow lead times, and
counterparties they can't always verify. The market is asking for a
partner that understands both the trading floor and the ground.
The household problem
Over 90% of end-users in our target market still cook with charcoal and solid biomass.
The WHO links wood- and coal-burning to acute respiratory illness,
cardiovascular disease, and elevated cancer risk. Household air
pollution is responsible for an estimated 3.2 million deaths each
year worldwide, including over 237,000 children under five. It's an
indoor exposure that cleaner fuels directly prevent.
